Publishing to WordPress isn't Working, Why?
Your attempt to upload your content on WordPress might fail for several reasons, including:
- An incorrect application password - always check to ensure you added your application password and not your regular password.
- An incorrect username - to be able to upload content to WordPress, you must ensure that you are using the right username; the username that matches the application password you created.
- A username without the right permissions - if you are unable to create an application password on WordPress, then you don't have the right permissions to publish content remotely. Kindly export the content by clicking on the "copy" option or the "Download to Doc" option.
- Issues Specific to Your Site - some settings on your WordPress website may prevent remote publishing, including your CORS policy (access control) and XML-RPC.
